Media Blasting
Preparation with a purpose
Surface preparation sets the stage for a high-quality finish. From media blasting to passivation, we have the flexibility to handle one-off prototypes, large scale industrial equipment as well as utility trailers, boat trailers, car frames, and more.
Bead Blasting is the process of applying media (glass beads, garnet, etc.) at high pressure typically using compressed air.
Bead Blasting can be used to:
- Remove surface imperfections
- Surface preparation
- Glass etching
Bead Blasting produces a clean, bright, satin finish.
Garnet Blasting is the process of applying garnet media at high pressure typically using compressed air.
Garnet Blasting is typically used on mild steel to:
- Remove surface imperfections
- Remove paint and other coatings
- Remove rust and corrosion
- Surface preparation
- Glass etching
